• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password hashes, and company business details.
• Job & Media Data: Job titles, descriptions, photos, videos, and pickup locations uploaded by users.
• Location & Geocode Coordinates: Geolocation coordinates (lat/lng), city, state, and zip code to enable proximity-based job matching and map display.
• Payment & Payout Information: Payment card details and bank account routing information are processed directly by Stripe. JunkRemovalBid never stores raw credit card numbers or bank account passwords.

2. How We Use Information

• Facilitating job postings, reverse auctions, and automatic winning bid matching.
• Processing secure payments via Stripe and distributing payouts via Stripe Connect Express.
• Sending transactional notifications, auction alerts, and email confirmations.
• Ensuring platform integrity, verifying contractor accounts, and preventing fraud.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with third-party service providers required for platform operations:

• Stripe / Stripe Terminal: For payment processing, Tap to Pay, and 1099-K tax reporting.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: For geocoding and map rendering.
• UploadThing: For secure media storage of job photos and videos.

4. Data Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit, hashed passwords via bcryptjs, and secure database connections. Data is retained for as long as your account remains active or as required by financial and legal regulations.
