1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to JunkRemovalBid.com ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering, accessing, or using our website, mobile applications, or services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Marketplace Description

JunkRemovalBid provides an online marketplace connecting homeowners and property owners ("Customers") with independent junk removal service providers ("Companies" or "Contractors"). JunkRemovalBid acts solely as a technological facilitator of reverse auctions and payment collection. We do not perform junk removal services directly nor do we employ contractors.

3. Reverse Auction & Bidding Rules

• Customer Listings: Customers post jobs detailing items to be removed, media (photos/videos), preferred timing, and pickup locations.
• Binding Bids: All bids submitted by Companies during an active auction constitute a binding legal offer to complete the specified job for the bid amount.
• Automatic Finalization: The company with the lowest valid bid at the expiration of the auction clock is automatically awarded the job.
• Underbidding & Integrity: Companies agree to submit honest, realistic bids based on job details provided. Misrepresentation or false underbidding is strictly prohibited.

4. Payments, Platform Fees & Stripe Connect

• Platform Fee: JunkRemovalBid retains a platform commission fee (default 10%) on each completed transaction.
• Stripe Connect Express: Companies must complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding to receive payouts. Payouts are routed directly to the company's designated bank account or debit card by Stripe.
• Tap to Pay & On-Site Collection: Payments may be collected on site via Tap to Pay or credit/debit card. All card processing is handled by Stripe Terminal in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
• Tax Responsibilities (1099-K): Companies are independent third-party contractors responsible for their own federal, state, and local tax obligations. Stripe Express automatically handles annual 1099-K reporting.

5. Company Conduct & Approval

Every Company application is subject to administrative approval. JunkRemovalBid reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any Company account at its sole discretion for violation of safety standards, customer complaints, fraudulent bidding, or failure to maintain required business licenses and insurance.

6. Cancellations, Disputes & Refunds

Customers may cancel jobs prior to auction completion without penalty. If a dispute arises regarding job scope, damage, or non-completion, both parties agree to submit the dispute to JunkRemovalBid Admin Mediation. JunkRemovalBid reserves the right to issue refunds or re-assign jobs based on dispute investigation findings.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JunkRemovalBid shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from contractor performance, property damage, personal injury, or job site disputes.
